A Fabulous New Book!

A Fabulous New Book!

The Supper Club with Lydia Menzies is a fabulous new entertaining book that brings together creative ideas from Lydia’s Supper Club members, showcasing their beautiful homes and favorite gathering spaces. I was thrilled to host a photo shoot for the book at my home in Charlotte, making it an unforgettable experience.

For the shoot, I collaborated with the talented designer Lisa Mende to create three themed parties. We had an absolute blast styling each scene while Lydia and her photographer, Adam Kuehl, worked their magic to capture the perfect shots. Fellow Supper Club members Deedee Dalrymple, Ashley Lindler, and Stacy Naquin joined us on the day of the shoot, bringing in a whirlwind of props—dishes, glasses, vases, trays, food, and flowers—turning my home into a lively creative hub.

Lisa and I designed a Caftan and Cocktail party featuring The House of MBR’s vibrant caftans, designed by fellow Supper Club member Michelle Robertson. We also styled a festive Cinco de Mayo celebration and a fun-filled Mahjong Pool Party. Adam expertly captured hundreds of photos, and together with Lydia, they selected the best ones for the book.

I hope you enjoy these behind-the-scenes glimpses from our shoot! Lydia’s book is now available on her website and makes a perfect Easter or Mother’s Day gift. It’s truly a stunning collection, celebrating wonderful people and their beautiful designs.
